Big 12 Predictions 02-02

Well we went 9-2 last week, although we had some interesting results. Kansas St. dominated Kansas, the Wildcats played a great game and the Kansas State coaching staff and players deserve all the credit in this win. They came out playing fearless and they never let up. Some great decisions by Frank Martin in the second half moving Michael Beasley outside, away from the Kansas double and triple teams in the paint. Well it certainly paid off, look out America Kansas State has started to come together as a team (Moving to #13 overall), lets see if they can continue the hot start with a 6th win over Hannah-less Missouri.

Texas plays too sporadic to ever decide if they are going to be a force. You can't get down by 22 points to any Big XII team and expect to win. Luckily for us, this week they have a better matchup because they play better at home, but I still think this game could go either way. I expect them to respond and they have capable enough guards to beat Baylor.

Nebraska will be looking for the 2nd big twelve win after that 4 point struggle against 6-player Missouri last Wednesday night. If they refuse to not find Alex Maric every time down the floor they will continue to struggle. Doc Sadler needs to recognize the talent he has in the post and that no one for Iowa State is a great matchup against him. Go to him early and go to him often and they should come out of top.
